We want to give maximum attention to new compassion research in order to raise awareness of the power of compassion and the impact its cultivation could have on many of the issues we face as a society. That is why, with enormous thanks to researcher Michael Juberg and Chair of our Science Committee Marcela Matos, we are pleased to launch Compassion Monthly - our monthly digest of the latest compassion research. |

Compassionate economics |

The 100 wealthiest people on the planet have enough wealth to end global poverty 4x over. Something needs to change. In this month's panel we explored how 'compassionate economics' can provide the blueprint for an economy that is equitable and just and helps everyone to lead a good and happy life. Our panelists also wrote this blog on the six big changes they want to see in our global economies. |

Peggy will tell us about the different challenges facing LGBTQ youth, how these have changed with time, and how we can all be the best possible allies to the LGBTQ community. |
