Tips for easing suffering

Why do we fixate on the negative?

We are all prone to a "negativity bias" - the unfortunate ability to remember (and often fixate) on the 'bad' things that we've said, done, or had happen to us. It means we carry these things around with us like heavy stones - weighing us down and holding us back. But, with practice, we can free ourselves from these shackles.
